Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. To see rates, the tool requires gender, age, your health assessment, tobacco use, the coverage amount you want, and how many years you need. These six facts let carriers return quotes without asking for any personal identification. Names, addresses, and detailed health records are only collected if you proceed to apply.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

The rates shown reflect what each carrier quotes for your chosen health tier. After underwriting, the carrier determines your final class—it may stay the same, improve, or shift. This site is not an insurance offer and makes no promise about final rates.

What happens when I click Apply?

Provide your name and pick your chosen carrier, and the application opens prefilled with everything you already told us. The carriers' secure platform takes over from there. You can step away and come back later, and you sign using your electronic signature. Susman Insurance Agency, a California-licensed firm (License 0B75129), processes the application.

Will I need a medical exam?

The answer depends on the carrier, coverage size, and your specific situation. For qualified applicants, several carriers can approve instantly without any exam; each quote on this site tells you whether the carrier expects an exam, might need one, or doesn't require one for that product.

Is a longer term better?

Pick a term that covers the years when your family would struggle financially without you: mortgage years, child-rearing years, business obligations. Longer terms mean higher monthly cost but a locked-in price for more years. Here you can instantly compare 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year terms.

Does this site sell my information?

No. The tool doesn't capture contact information, we never sell or distribute visitor information, and our tracking doesn't rely on cookies. Visit the privacy page to see the complete details of what data is collected and by whom.
